WIDNES have been relegated from the ECB Premier League after losing their last game of the season.
They end the year with the wooden spoon after a 98 runs defeat at home to Chester Boughton Hall.
The visitors posted the day’s top score of 280-5, with Kumar Sarna 98 not out, Steve Ogilby 53.
Widnes replied with 182, the main runs coming from Andy Ford 48, Sam Agarwal 43, with Alex Kegg doing the damage with 4-42.
