WIDS scored 10 tries as they comfortably beat bottom side Aspatria at Heath Road.
The home side were quickly out of the blocks, scoring three early tries from Gareth Moss, Kevin Farrow and Matty Smith, before another double whammy shortly before half time from Michael Lamb and Smith again.
Although Aspatria had crossed for a try midway through the first half, it did not get any better for them as they quickly conceded again as Farrow crossed for his second. Chris Park did score for the visitors, before the floodgates opened as the home side attacked from all areas of the field.
Paul Borg, Kevin Leadbetter, Dave Welsh and Andrew Riley all scored further tries for Widnes, while Leadbetter added a total of five conversions.
Brown scored a late consolation try for the visitors.
