WEST Bank started this game positively, pushing the Clock Face line twice before they opened the scoring with a well work try which went unconverted.
The Bears seemed to still be in holiday mode at times in the first half and not at their best.
Clock Face took full advantage of this and scored two further tries making the half time score 12-0.
In the second half West Bank began to look like the team they can be, with good driving runs from Tom Stubbs, Colm McKeown, Zach Dwyer and Cameron Saulter making valuable metres.
The Bears broke the line when Owen Buckley raced to the try line and scored out wide.
As the game went on West Bank got stronger in attack. Stubbs was held up over the line, Saulter was deemed to have knocked on over the line when it was ‘helped’ out of his hands and Josh Riley had a great touchline run only to be ankle tapped and tackled.
In the final moments Adam Mullarkey chased a grubber kick, narrowly missing out on scoring and forcing Clock Face to kick the ball dead.
Two players impressed on their debuts for West Bank, Colm McKeown and Robert Fleet.
