Leigh Miners 18 Widnes St Maries 18.
MARIES grabbed a priceless point in their survival battle with a stunning second half fight back that resulted in them sharing the points in a blizzard.
Miners led 16-0 at half time but the second half belonged to St Maries with the returning Matty Viggers inspired at scrum half.
Tries from Chris Cartledge and Lee Birdseye, which the latter converted, brought the score to 16-10.
Although Miners stretched the lead to eight points Maries tails were up.
Tries from Adam Middleton and top scorer Sean Conroy brought them level.
AJC Engineering Solutions man of the match with an awesome display after 12 months out was Matty Viggers, pushed hard by young Dean French and Lee Birdseye.
Team: French, Fairclough, Conroy, Allen, Cartledge, Birdseye, Viggers, Prendergast, Hollins, Smith, Lamb, Gallimore, Welsh. Subs: Middleton, Lawton, Prendergast, Harland.
