WIDNES-based Moorfield CC are the newest members of the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League and will commence their league programme at home to Hawarden Park in Division Two on Sunday May 2.
Indeed Moorfield and Hawarden will be familiar opponents in the early stages of the season, with the sides due to meet in the opening round of the West Division Twenty20, and now also drawn together in the preliminary round of the Lovelane Knockout Cup.
