WIDNES won the League for the second year running despite an under-par performance.
Wids opened their account after good forward play with Garrity finishing off, Smith added the extras. Lang went over after a 30 yard break from Raymond. Garrity scored his second after good work from Clark and Clare. Lang made the initial break to release Captain Clark to touchdown. Schofield then released Paton to go 30 yards to increase the Wids lead, Smith added the simple conversion. Eccles scored a late consolation try deservedly for their efforts.
