WARRINGTON Wolves could be Ben Barba's final Super League opponents.

The St Helens full back, Super League's leading try scorer, has confirmed he will be heading home to Australia at the end of this season.

The Wire meet Saints in the play-offs semi final at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Thursday, October 4.

If Wire win, Barba will rturn Down Under with only a League Leaders' Shield success to look back on.

It will be The Wire's mission to send him home disappointed - without a Grand Final experience that he shared Down Under at Cronulla Sharks with Wolves head coach Steve Price.

The 29-year-old, who has played 32 games for the club, is set to join North Queensland Cowboys.

Barba played 168 times in the NRL for Canterbury (2008–13), Brisbane (2014) and Cronulla (2015–16) and will return to the State he grew up in.

He said: “I want to finish the season off playing my best football for the club and fans and hopefully capping off a successful season.”
