PARENTS and families were treated to a spectacular Ice Dancing Show at Silver Blades Ice rink in Widnes recently.
The local children and adult skaters from Widnes Ice Skating Club joined up with a touring cast that was made up from Silver Blades professional dancers, to stage the spectacular show ‘Alice in Wonderland’ on Ice.
The colourful show was a sell-out, and the excellent performances from many local skaters were very well received by the crowd.
These young people are potential Ice dancing and figure skating stars of the future, and are progressing well at the Widnes rink under the excellent supervision of the professional coaches.
The benefit of having top class coaching staff and facilities is starting to show through now in the ability of the children.
Widnes Ice Skating Club and the Silver Blades rink are hoping for a lot more success in national competitions throughout 2017.
