HALTON Swimming Club had nine competitors taking part at the COLSC County Qualifier at Everton Park last week and produced some fine performances once again.

Hannah Forsyth, aged 10, took part in the 50m breaststroke finishing in 13th place in a new personal best time of 55.35s.

Twelve-year old Emmie Brownlow competed in the 50m freestyle where she collected a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle in a time of 32.30s

13-year-old Lucy Harris competed in the 50m freestyle where she also won a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle in a time of 31.89s.

Ten-year-old Sam Shurie competed in the 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 200m backstroke and 200m breaststroke.

Sam finished in 3rd, 5th, 4th and 4th respectively, all events producing new personal best times.

Thirteen year old Libby Harrison competed in the longer event, the 400m freestyle where she performed admirably collecting a bronze medal in a new personal best time of 5:12.31.

Libby went one better in the 400m individual medley where she came second in a time of 5:58.10s.

Fifteen year old Ellie-Jo Hughes won a gold medal in the 50m backstroke in a new personal best time of 34.16s and collected silver in the 100m breaststroke, again producing another personal best time of 1:26.09s

Thirteen year old David Mihoc competed in the 50m breaststroke and finished with a time of 57.92s

Twelve year old Joshua Howard-Hughes took part in the 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke and finished with a silver medal in both events.

Ten year old Bethany Howard-Hughes finished in first place in the 100m butterfly in a new time of 1:30.04s
