WIDNES Vikings will begin their 2017 Betfred Super League season with a home game against Huddersfield Giants.

The game against the Yorkshiremen will take place at the Select Security Stadium on Friday, February 10, kick off 8pm Denis Betts’ side will play their first away game on Friday, February 24, when they visit Super League champions Wigan.

The traditional Easter double header sees Vikings visit neighbours Warrington on Thursday, April 13, before a trip to Leeds on Easter Monday, April 17.

Another double header has been added to the Super League calendar at the end of May and it sees Widnes travel to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday, May 26, before hosting Leeds on Monday, May 29.

The Vikings’ final game of the regular rounds sees them host Warrington on Thursday, July 20.
