Widnes forward Ben Kavanagh has been released from his contract by mutual consent.
Kavanagh, 27, spent the majority of last season on loan at Wakefield and is now set to take up a deal with Kingstone Press Championship side, Bradford.
Vikings Head Coach, Denis Betts, said: “When we sat down with Ben it was discussed that playing opportunities for him would be limited in 2016. We therefore mutually agreed that he could go somewhere that would allow him to find some more competitive game time. We would like to thank Ben for his contribution to the Club and wish him the best of luck for the future."
