Tickets go on sale for Widnes Vikings festive friendly with Warrington Wolves

It will Vikings' first warm-up game ahead of the 2016 First Utility Super League season.

Last season's Festive Derby took place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with the Wolves coming out 16-0 victors. Warrington also won on their last friendly visit to Widnes, 36-32 in December 2013.

However, the Vikings have won the last three Super League fixtures between the two sides at the Select Security Stadium.

Vikings Marketing Director, Brian O'Connor, said: "Both clubs have been actively promoting Membership campaigns over recent weeks and what better way to say thank you than to offer a discount for our Members to the Festive Derby.

"It's a game that everyone looks forward to over the Christmas period, as a first chance to see the class of 2016 and we're definitely due a win in the annual clash.

"The Membership plays a huge part in our 'One Club' philosophy and this is another example of a benefit of being a Viking Stronghold Member."

Executive seating in the gold/silver area is available on a first come, first served basis, including a free one course carvery meal.

South Stand general seating will be unallocated for this game. Warrington fans will be housed in the east stand.

Tickets are now on sale, and 2016 Viking Stronghold Members can get significant discount if purchased before December 1.

The Member offer is also extended to Warrington Wolves Full Hardwired Members.

Members Price (pre-Dec 1): Adult £10, Concession £8, Junior £4.

General Advanced Ticket Price: Adult £16, Concession £12, Junior £7.

*All general ticket prices subject to £2 increase on matchday.

Adult £25 (£30 for non-members).

Concession £20 (£25 for non-members).
