Division Two, Winwick 2 Railway Rangers 1.

Tobias Robinson scored a fantastic overhead kick to put Winwick ahead after twenty five minutes and Rob Quillian doubled the lead shortly after Railway equalised before half time and despite chances at both ends Winwick held on for a vital three points to move third in the table.

Division Four, Windmill 1 Lomax 6.

This was a very competitive match played out by two good teams. Lomax took an early lead through Craig Hoyland. Windmill piled pressure on the Lomax goal, and were unlucky not to score, as a number of efforts went narrowly wide.

Lomax hit back with two counter attacking goals by Matty Mairs and Adam Bugan to lead 3-0 at half time.

The second half was much the same with Windmill throwing everything at Lomax to get back in the game.

Lomax in turn replied with further second half goals from Adam Deakin (2) and a fine free kick from Hoyland.

Windmill scored a late consolation goal by Tony Hodnet, a reward for his effort in the game.

Division Three, Wellington FC 5 Avon Reserves 3.

Plenty of goals in this tie. Wellington FC started strong with early goals from Craig Connolly and Paul Cartwright.

As the game settled, Avon was awarded two penalties.

The first saved by Danny Vick and the second was superbly converted.

Two goals from Captain Danny Woolley made it 4-1 at half time.

The second half saw a change in pressure as Avon scored two well crafted goals and forced three excellent saves from Danny Vick before Chris Wells scored at the other end for Wellington FC and laid the game to rest.
