WIDNES slipped to a fourth successive defeat as Kirkby Lonsdale comfortably won this North One West fixture at Heath Road.
The visitors saved their best till last as the ran in three tries inside last ten minutes to leave the home in the bottom three with just newly promoted Blackburn and Broughton Park beneath them.
Widnes’ only points came from a Kevin Leadbetter penalty midway through the first half.
Their next game is away at Warrington on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
