THIS was another disappointing result for Widnes, who have now lost three in a row.
The game was over inside the first quarter, when the home side ran in four tries to lead 22–0 at half time.
And, although the visitors were able to stem the tide with a gutsy effort in the second half, they were unable to prevent Kendal from adding two further tries in the second half.
On Saturday, Widnes face another tough challenge against another of the unbeaten sides, Kirkby Lonsdale at Heath Road, kick off 3pm.
