Runcorn Linnets have signed striker Jason Carey from Glossop North End.
Carey was a leading light in the Glossop team, which won a North West Counties League double of league title and Challenge Cup in 2014-15 season and his goals were instrumental in the Hillmen also reaching the FA Vase final at Wembley.
He unfortunately missed the final through suspension.
Carey has been a prolific scorer at this level not only at Glossop but also before that at Runcorn Town and Formby for whom he played against Linnets in the 2012-13 League Challenge Cup final.
Manager Joey Dunn is naturally thrilled to have Jason on board and to have further strengthened his already exciting attacking options.
