BUOYED by their win over league leaders Leeds Widnes Vikings will bounce into Sunday's Challenge Cup tie against Batley.

And, with momentum in mind, coach Denis Betts will not be resting anyone ahead of the sixth round clash against the mid table Championship side.

They have a huge carrot not to slip up as a victory on Sunday will see the Vikings in the last eight of the Challenge Cup – two wins away from Wembley.

Coach Denis Betts said: "We are not looking to rest anyone.

"We have not got an opportunity to do that given the depth of the squad.

"It is not like we need to any way because it's a decent Sunday turnaround and that will put some energy back in the side.

"But the way I look at it is that we are one step away from a Challenge Cup quarter final, so I want to pick a side that is going to win and win well.

"We are not going to take it easy. I want to be in the next round and to do that I am going to pick my best team.

"We have been looking for momentum so if you start chopping and changing the side then it becomes harder to find that."

Sunday's game kicks off at 3.30pm and admission is £10 but under 16s can access the game for free but must obtain a match ticket to enter the Select Security Stadium.

Free tickets are available from the Vikings Superstore and will also be available to collect from the ticket window at the stadium on match day.

Vikings are approaching a crucial part of the Super League campaign with the five games in between the cup rounds against teams around them that they need to beat to force their way into the top eight.

Although Vikings scored a great win against Rhinos on Sunday, wins for Catalans and the two Hull clubs meant that they only climbed up one place to tenth.

It remains incredibly tight with only three points separating fifth place and 11th meaning it is all to play for.

Betts said: "This is going to be an exciting few weeks for us.

"We are playing sides around us and have a great chance top get some points on the board.

"I was another fantastic game – if you love rugby league come and watch Widnes play.

"Every single week its a feast and some weeks it is not good for my heart but we play some good stuff."
