PETER Nelson from Runcorn had a consistent day of racing at Oulton Park in the Thundersport GB Championship at the weekend.
As a newcomer to motorcycle racing, he had entered the two races for the A&R Racing Continental Pre-National Sport 600 series on his Lord Nelson Tattoo sponsored Kawasaki 600.
Starting both races from 20th out of 38 starters, he gained credible 19th and 20th places in the races which is pretty good going in your first season.
