SATURDAY sees Widnes Wild travelling to Solihull for their eagerly awaited play off semi final against Solihull Barons - face off 6.30pm.

A large following of fans is expected to travel for the key game against the league champions. Travel and ticket details available via social media.

Season tickets for 2014- 15 at discount prices, for reserved seating, can still be ordered from the rink.

Orders are being taken for the new playing jerseys, which will be manufactured in July.

There will be a summer 4 on 4 tournament in May and June with a number of expected new signings expected to be announced along with the retained list, at the same time.

Wild Ice Hockey Club held their first presentation night at the Ford Social Club last Friday.

The club’s newly formed Under 10s and juniors were the first to receive mementoes and club jackets.

Annual awards to the playing staff followed and players presented their playing shirts to individual sponsors.

The event was hosted by match official Dick Gillingham and Wild Team Manager Mick Caunce.

Clubman of the year – Mark Higson.

Goal of the season - Dan Bracegirdle.

Supporter of the year – Sue Cartlidge.

Managers player of the year – Callum Ruddick.

Coaches player of the year – Bobby Caunce.
