Division Two Cup Final: Sandbach United were crowned cup final winners after beating Rudheath Social 3-1 despite going behind early in the game.

Mike Brandon gave Rudheath the lead in the 20th minute when he got on the end of a cross from a Rudheath free kick. However 15 minutes of hard work saw Sandbach rewarded for their efforts when Kris Stockton headed home the equaliser from a corner.

Sandbach were awarded a penalty in the 44th minute when Chris Jackson was fouled in the area, which Tom Watkin sent crashing into the net to give Sandbach a 2-1 half time advantage.

Anthony Marshall put the demons from last years final firmly behind Sandbach when he made it 3-1 with twenty minutes remaining.

He picked his spot from the edge of the box and sent the ball perfectly into the bottom left corner to give Sandbach a much deserved victory.

Division One Despite taking a 2-1 deficit into the break, Knutsford bounced back with a strong second half performance, beating Styal 4-2 at home.

Sean Lynch (2) Dean Warburton and Lee Shakoor scored the goals that saw Knutsford go thirteen points clear at the top of the table with eight games remaining.

Middlewich Town sit comfortably in fourth spot as they beat Rylands 3-1 away with Sam Sullivan scoring a hat trick and Scott Tebb scoring a consolation goal for Rylands.

Division Two: There were goals galore as Malpas played host to Maine Road Reserves and the away side found themselves 3-1 up at half time despite playing uphill. The second half saw Malpas come back strongly and eventually draw level at 4-4, but a last minute penalty awarded for handball saw Maine Road secure the victory which takes them to the top of the table.

Rudheath Social bounced back from their cup final defeat to beat Moore United 4-1 away from home. Sam Didsbury, Stu Tulloch and brothers Gary and Jack Bryning all scored in a victory that keeps their title hopes burning strong.

Clive Hampshire and Tom Worthington both found the net for Egerton as they celebrated a second successive victory with a 2-1 win at Penlake, while Barnton secured a 4-3 win away at Daten which more than keeps them in the title race, having played three less games than most around them.

Poynton suffered an unexpected 3-2 defeat at home against Congleton Vale in a game that saw Poynton reduced to eight men. Damon Oakes gave Congleton the lead in the 18th minute, which was cancelled out when Dec Fletcher squared the ball to Danny Makin following a strong build up to make it 1-1. Fletcher gave Poynton the lead soon after to give the home side the half time advantage, but Congleton were back on level terms shortly after the break when Matthew Ben-Accom scored from the penalty spot. Poynton then had three players dismissed for receiving second cautions but no discredit to Congleton who put in a strong performance with Will Buckley scoring the winner with twenty minutes remaining.

Reserve Division Rylands took maximum points in their local derby against Grappenhall Sports beating their rivals 2-1. Karl Taylor opened the scoring with a decent strike, before a thumping Dave Morley header looked to seal the victory for Rylands, with Grappenhall scoring a goal late into injury time for 2-1.

Eagle Sports took no prisoners as they stormed to an 11-1 victory at home against Daten. Josh Purcell found the net five times, with Danny Nixon and Owen Ellis scoring twice and the other goals coming from Gareth Williams and Dan Burthem. This puts Eagle's scoring tally up to twenty in two games, six points behind second place Linotype CHN, with two games in hand.

Fourth place Middlewich Town beat Golborne Sports 3-0 at home, while Whaley Bridge and Denton Town shared the spoils as they drew 2-2.

Goals from Paul Molloy and Jamie O'Brien saw Barnton beat Gamesley 3-0 at home, while Billinge and Garswood United finished 1-1 in their local derby. Ablewhite was on the score sheet again for Billinge.
