Anglers must apply for Bridgewater Canal permit
10:29am Friday 15th March 2013 in Sport
RUNCORN Angling Centre members will need to apply for a new permit if they wish to fish a stretch of the Bridgewater Canal that has new rights holders.
Lymm Angling Club, based in Warrington, now hold the permission terms for angling between Waterloo Bridge in Runcorn to Crawley's Bridge at Preston Brook marina.
The stretch has been available to the Lymm Angling Club’s 1,600 strong membership since March 1.
Runcorn Angling Centre members will be permitted to fish the stretch until March 31, after which a Lymm AC membership permit will be required.
There is a special Bridgewater Canal only permit available for £20 which is valid until December 31.
All memberships are available via lymmanglersclub.com/joinus.htm
