Tickets go on sale for Widnes Vikings' Good Friday clash against Warrington Wolves

THE countdown has started for the Good Friday ‘Extraordinary Derby' on March 29 and tickets are now on sale from the Vikings Superstore (within Tesco Extra).

After three fantastic performances at home this season, tickets for the Warrington fixture will sell fast and Vikings fans are encouraged to snap up their tickets as soon as possible to guarantee their seat.

There are a number of fun filled activities that will take place both inside and outside the stadium on the day of the game, to bring a real Bank Holiday 'Carnival' atmosphere to the Stobart on what is sure to be a very Good Friday!

The Vikings are expecting a bumper crowd for the game versus the Wolves on Good Friday and Warrington have requested the opportunity to purchase tickets for both the East and West Stands at the Stobart Stadium.

In order to ensure the Vikings fans match the Warrington turn out, the club is encouraging our supporters to purchase their tickets early, as there will only be tickets available in the North and South Stands.

The Vikings' highest home attendance in Super League against Warrington Wolves is 9,825. This happened on July 3, 2005.

The Vikings will be looking to not only claim the bragging rights in the first local derby of the campaign, but also reinforce their potential top eight ambitions by claiming the two Super League points on offer at the expense of our near neighbours.

Advance tickets for the Vikings versus Wolves game are on sale at the Vikings Superstore until 7pm on Thursday 28 March. Prices are listed below, with match day ticket prices detailed in brackets.
