More guests announced for Shaun Briscoe testimonial event

More guests have been confirmed for the Widnes Vikings / Warrington Wolves which will take place at the Stobart Stadium Halton on Wednesday 27th March less than 48 hours before the first Cheshire Super League derby of 2013.

Joining Shaun Briscoe - the event being one of a limited number of testimonial events for the Vikings’ full back - will be former Wolves, now Vikings Jon Clarke and Steve Pickersgill along with wingman Patrick Ah Van and stand off Kevin Brown, whilst rolling back the years will be a stalwart of the derby encounters Jim Mills.

The Wolves contingent for the night includes half backs Lee Briers and former Viking Richie Myler alongside the front row due of Adrian Morley and Gareth Carvell. Add in former Wire packman Mike Nicholas and it’s certainly promises to be a great night’s entertainment as a pre-cursor to the Good Friday clash.

The evening is hosted by Wire FM’s Roy Basnett and includes a Widnes / Warrington quiz, raffle and auction with one fan getting the opportunity to play in either the Widnes or Shaun Briscoe Legends sides that will be going head to head in May on the iPitch.
