Forum to kick off Shaun Briscoe testimonial

VIKINGS full-back Shaun Briscoe has announced details of his first testimonial event to take place on the west of the Pennines.

The former England, Wigan, Hull and Hull KR player has been granted a three month testimonial by the RFL and the venue for what promises to be a great night is the Stobart Stadium Halton where on Wednesday 27 March players and coaching staff from both the Vikings and neighbours Warrington Wolves will gather for a fans forum just 48 hours before the traditional Good Friday clash in Super League.

Talking of tradition there will be also the chance to listen to two of the former stars of the Widnes v Warrington encounters as we’ll be joined by Jim Mills and Mike Nicholas who will share their memories of the games at Naughton Park, Wilderspool and, of course, Wembley Stadium.
