A HILARIOUS comedy show will be the next of many performances in Runcorn to assist hard of hearing and visually impaired theatre goers.
The Brindley is adopting a new project providing audio described shows starting with Tony and Twizzle – The Glory Years on Thursday October 9.
Under the new scheme, visually impaired people can go on stage before the show and feel the props and get a sense of what will happen on the stage, then the action is described to them in headphones between the dialogue.
Texts of the words spoken will also appear on the stage like subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
To book a place for an audio described performance contact the Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360 or for further information contact Mr Bentham on the same number.
