Children challenged to draw 'Santa in specs' to win designer sunglasses

CREATIVE young artists have been set a festive challenge The World has teamed up with Conlons Opticians to invite children to design a Christmas card, featuring Father Christmas wearing glasses.
The winning entry will be used by this Widnes firm as their company Christmas card and sent to thousands of their contacts across the UK.
The winner will receive an easel, colouring equipment, including felt tips, paints and glitter pens, as well as pair of top of the range children’s sunglasses, plus a framed copy of their card.
The competition is open to children up to the age of 11.
Entrants can use pencils, pens, markers or paints, but not crayons, glitter or glue.
Lisa Fallding, manager of Conlons Widnes branch, said: “We are really excited about this great competition and can’t wait to see all the brilliant entries and what our company Christmas card will look like.
“I am sure there are lots of talented children and we hope they enjoy designing the cards.”
