A CLASSIC car show is being held in Hale village on Sunday, October 21, from 12 noon to 4pm, in aid of prostate cancer.

Around 20 vintage vehicles will be on display outside the Childe of Hale pub in Church End.

Organiser Ian Trimble, aged 44, a train driver, of Crabtree Close, said: “My passion started when I was younger. I used to restore cars with my dad.

“Now I do it as a hobby.”

Ian’s grey 1957 Ford Prefect will be on show alongside various other cars, including a three-wheeler owned by a Del Boy enthusiast.
