Hollywood musicals revived by local performers

GIFTED local performers have teamed up to stage a show at The Brindley.

Encore! A Journey Through The Hollywood Musical runs on Thursday, October 25, at 7pm, and Friday, October, 26, at 2pm and 7pm.

Harry Dutton, aged 11, of Ascot Avenue, Runcorn, will be starring as Billy Elliot.

Ben McCurry, aged nine, of Sutton Weaver, will appear in Bugsy Malone.

The two talented ballet dancers were found after an appeal in the World.

Rob Littler, aged 53, of Norman Road, who runs Victoria Music Group and is co-ordinating the show, said: “This is a local show by local people.

“You wil be taken on a journey from The Wizard of Oz through Calamity Jane and the King and I up to The Producers and The Rocky Horror Show.

“It is a real treat for musical fans and a great family night out.”
