Duchess of Gloucester is coming to Runcorn

A ROYAL visitor is coming to Runcorn, it was announced today.
HRH the Duchess of Gloucester will be meeting children from Halton schools on Tuesday.
She will be attending the 02 Young People Awards at the call centre in Preston Broik.
A special Jubilee Award will be presented to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee Year.
Pupils from Ormistton Bolingbroke Academy and St Chad’s in Runcorn and Bankfield and Wade Deacon in Widnes have been shortlisted for prizes.
The awards include a Creativity Award, Active Award, Knowledge Award, Leading by Example Award, Green School of the Year, Champion of Young People, Champion of the Year, and Inspirational Young People.
Nicola Priest, editor in chief of the Guardian series was one of the judges and will be helping to present the awards.
She will be joined by Radio City DJ Rossi and other special guests.
