OLDER people discovered hidden artistic talents at a free activity day in Runcorn’s Halton Lea Library.
Artists from Hazlehurst Studios in High Street, hosted an afternoon of creative arts and crafts.
They showed people how to print using a mixture of wooden blocks and how to make booklets and cards.
It was one of a series of taster sessions to encourage the over 55s to develop new skills, hobbies and interests.
Reading groups, IT lessons, and calligraphy were some of the activities offered.
Free tea and scones were served.
It was a chance for people to find out about the wealth of services and activites the library provides.
