POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Widnes.
The victimsm, a 27-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were driving along Canterbury Road in a red van at around 9pm on Saturday, October 6.
When they approached the junction with Abbey Road a blue car drove into the van several times causing damage to the back and side of the car.
The man and woman sustained back and neck injuries as a result of the incident but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or has any information, which might assist them with their enquiries, to get in touch.
