NEW digital job hubs have been launched at Halton’s libraries.

These job hunting clubs will give residents extra help and support in their search for employment.

Halton Council is offering IT help for people to compile their CVs, and find out about funding and courses.

Librarian Helen Sheridan is working on a community pathfinders’ project with the national careers serve to develop the new initiative.

Digital job hubs are being held every Friday at 10am in Runcorn’s Halton Lea Library.

Classes start at Widnes Library on Monday, October 15, from 2pm to 4pm, and will run every week.

All Halton Council libraries also have reduced priced print outs, internet access and information services to help people find a job.
