A RUNCORN woman who disturbed her neighbours with too much noise late at night has been prosecuted.

Natalie Scully, aged 30, of Dale Street, was convicted on two charges of breaching a noise abatement notice at Runcorn Magistrates Court.

The Court heard how Scully had repeatedly caused a nuisance to her neighbours late at night and in the early hours of the morning.

The noise had kept her neighbours awake to the point where one neighbour had contemplated moving house to escape it.

She had received repeated warnings from the environmental health department and a noise abatement notice which was subsequently breached between May and June 2012.

Scully was given a conditional discharge but ordered to pay £250 costs to Halton Council.
