£30,000 reward to find man suspected of murdering Widnes dad

POLICE are hunting for a 27-year-old man wanted in connection with the murder of Widnes dad-of-three, Wayne Basnett.
Detectives from Cheshire Police want to speak to Christie O’Connor about the shooting of 30-year-old Mr Basnett, from Hough Green.
A £30,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of O’Connor.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “O’Connor has links to Liverpool, Spain, Holland and other European countries.”
A TV appeal was broadcast on BBC Crimewatch last night, asking the public for help in finding him.
O'Connor is 6ft tall, of proportionate build, blue eyes, and speaks with a Liverpool accent.
Co-accused Michael Eves, aged 24, of Edenhall Drive, Halewood, has been charged with murder and is awaiting trial in Jan 2013.
