FREE tea, coffee and cake will be served at a Widnes beauty spot to help cancer sufferers.
A charity coffee morning is being held at Spike Island visitor centre in Mersey Road, West Bank, on Friday, September 28, from 10.30am to 2.30pm, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Free children’s craft activities will be provided.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, Clrs Tom McInerney and his wife, Angela, will be attending.
Any donations of cakes will be glady received on the day.
The event is being hosted by Apollo in partnership with West Bank Community Forum and GreenReclaim.
