A LONG-ESTABLISHED Widnes optician is offering £5 off a full eye test to mark the start of national eye health week, which runs from September 17-23.
Lisa Falding, branch manager of Conlons in Albert Road, Widnes said: “Everyone should have an eye test at least every two years, but for those aged 70 and over it should be every year.
“We all value our sight. It's the sense most people fear losing more than any other, but many of us don't actively look after our sight.
“A 100 people a day start to lose their sight in the UK, but for many people this shouldn't be the case. We do hope that people in Widnes will take advantage of our £5 off a sight test and come and have one.”
Readers should bring this article with them into the branch to receive their £5 discount.
Conlons opened in Widnes in 1946.
