A MAN who terrified youngsters across the north west has been banned from Widnes on his release from prison.
Akinwale Arobieke - better known as Purple Aki - was handed an interim Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Thursday following his release from Walton Prison.
But he has never been convicted of a sexual offence.
He was released three years into a six year sentence for 15 counts of harassing boys under the age of 16 and of witness intimidation.
Deputy district judge Aled Jones granted the order.
The 45-year-old had become a figure of fear for thousands of youngsters across Widnes and the rest of the north west.
However he was considered to be almost a mythical creation until his arrest.
Under the bizarre terms of the order, he is banned from touching, feeling or measuring the muscles of anyone without their consent.
The order will remain in place until midnight on November 23.
