A CHARITY concert has raised £1,500 for Halton Haven.
Picnic In The Park at Norton Priory’s Walled Gardens saw Boyzaloud perform a selection of boy band classics, including songs by Take That, Westlife and Boyzone.
Ciaran Clotworthy, hospice events manager, said: “Boyzaloud were absolutely terrific.
“The provided a fantastic atmosphere and had everyone up dancing.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to Anthony’s Travel for sponsoring the event. Without their kind generosity and continued support, the event wouldn’t have been possible to go ahead.”
Every penny raised will go towards providing specialist care free of charge at the hospice in Barnfield Avenue, Murdishaw in Runcorn.
Halton Haven is looking for volunteers to help at events. If you’re interested in volunteering or marshalling, call the events team on 0151 495 2111.
