A FLOWER festival is being held at St Mary’s Church in Church Road, Hale Village.
The ancient church will be adorned with intricate designs painstakingly created by enthusiastic flower arrangers.
Celebrate A Year In The Life Of A Church will see 18 different arrangements, each one depicting themes such as epiphany, harvest, wedding, remembrance and Chistmas.
The centre of the church will be filled with white lilies, each one remembering someone special.
The festival will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Hale at 10.30am, on Thursday, September 13 and closes with evensong on Sunday, September 16.
