CHILDREN in Widnes got to try their hand at circus skills last Monday.
SSE Fiddlers' Ferry Power Station hosted the event as part of their week of free fun activity days.
Thirty children from the area enjoyed a workshop from 'The Style Factory', learned to street dance with the 'Legend Dance Group', built bird boxes, and had fun with a giant Scalextric.
Gemma Davis, education centre manager of Fiddlers Ferry, said: “The week was a resounding success; the young people were a pleasure to spend time with and they had so much fun there were tears from some when they realised it was all over.”
