HALTON Live Fun Fest has been declared a triumph after raising more than £4,000 for Halton Haven.
The action packed event attracted more than 5,000 visitors to Runcorn Town Park on Saturday.
More than 10 acts competed in a talent show and teams put their skills, strength and stamina to the test in It’s A Knockout inflatable games.
Ciaran Clotworth, hospice events manager, said: “I couldn’t be more pleased, especially as the weather held for us.
“The support we received from the local community was amazing.
“We had strong crowds throughout the day. The events were a great success and everyone commented on how great the atmosphere was.
“I can’t thank everyone enough who helped contribute to make this event a huge success, from the volunteers who gave up their time to our main sponsors.
“We really do appreciate it.”
Singer Tyler Mensah, aged 15, from Runcorn, won the talent show and a £150 Argos voucher.
Jungle Duo Georgia Lewis and Courtney Quintan, who performed a gymnastic routine, were runners up.
Widnes singer Kelly Charnock came third.
Tesco’s team won It’s A Knockout.
