EXCITED children were treated to a free magic show and lunch to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Runcorn’s Halton Lea shopping centre.
Around 100 pupils from Hallwood Primary School were entertained by Amazing Stephen, who mesmerised them with conjuring tricks and slapstick comey.
Russell Fletcher, deputy head teacher of Hallwood Primary said: “It was a wonderful day out for the children. They thoroughly enjoyed it and hopefully learned something too.
“We are extremely grateful to Halton Lea for inviting us along to take part in the anniversary festivities.”
Claire Johnson, from Halton Lea said: “Our remit is to serve the local community and we were delighted to bring the children of Hallwood Primary into the centre for an afternoon of fun. We are really glad they enjoyed it.”
