A UNIQUE £6 million development for older people in Widnes is proving a big hit.
There are now only a few apartments left at Naughton Fields in Liverpool Road.
The accommodation has its own bistro, lounge, hair and beauty salon and spa therapy.
Noel Sharpe, executive director of customer services at Halton Housing Trust, said: “Halton still has a shortage of this type of accommodation, which makes this development even more important for the community as a whole.
“This scheme will provide people from across the borough with a home that is flexible enough to meet their changing needs.”
The development has been designed for people aged 55 and over, with an onsite care team.
