TEARFUL teenagers said goodbye to their schoolfriend today with moving tributes.
Hundreds attended the funeral of 14-year-old Lewis Millward/Edge at St Mary’s Church, 11 days after he plunged to his death off the Silver Jubilee Bridge.
West Bank Boys Brigade, which Lewis used to play with, led his coffin and mourners through the streets of West Bank.
The gifted guitarist had performed on stage in a rock band at Wade Deacon High School the night before he died.
Floral tributes in the shape of a guitar, X Box and treble clef rested on his coffin from his grand parents.
His dad, Graham, left a moving message, saying: ‘To my son, Lewis. I love you all the world always and forever, rest in peace, son’ His grandad, said: ‘You were a fantastic grandson. I will miss you so much. I will never forget you.’
