Runcorn homebrew shop keen to dispel myths

A FREE night for ladies only is being held at the largest homebrew shop in the north west.
Homebrew Supermarket in Picow Farm Road, Runcorn, is inviting women aged 18 and over to a special event at 7pm on Friday, July 27.
Director Martin Ramsden, aged 32, said: “Some ladies feel it is a male only environment with scientific equipment. We want to dispel that myth and show how fun, low cost and satisfying brewing can be just like cooking and baking.”
Ladies will be able to sample some homebrew wine and watch a demonstration by one of the business owners, 32-year-old Jane Lindon, from Clifton Road.
