Exciting fun-filled festival in aid of Halton Haven Hospice (From Runcorn and Widnes World)

Talent show and It's A Knockout to raise funds for hospice

A FUN-FILLED festival is being held in aid of Halton Haven, on Saturday, August 4, at Runcorn Town Park.

Halton Live Fun Fest will include a talent show and It’s A Knockout.

Ciaron Clotworth, hospice events manager, said: “We’re really excited about this great new event.

“We have some fantastic entertainment lined up which will take place throughout the day, from local dance troops performing to talented singers.

“It will be a great family day out.”

Halton Haven is appealing for teams of five to enter It’s A Knockout.

Each team must raise a minimum of £250, of which £50 is required as a deposit to register.

A series of fun-filled events, including foamy floatable games, will test your skills, strength and stamina.

Applicants must be aged 16 or over and can enter as friends or as a company.

An open age talent show will alse be staged.

Closing date for entries, costing £10, is Friday, July 20.

After auditions, the top 20 acts will perform at Halton Live.
