TWO tickets for the Olympic opening celebration at London’s Hyde Park, worth £900, have been donated to Halton Haven.
The hospice is now auctioning them online.
The massive open air concert on Friday, July 27, coincides with the opening moment of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Winners will see live performances by top acts including Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini.
The package also includes a night’s stay at the luxury five star hotel, The Mayfair.
Ciaran Clotworthy, hospice events manager, said: “It’s absolutely incredible that one of our fundraisers donated this prize.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch a spectacular event.
“The atmosphere in Hyde Park will be electric, with performances from some of the biggest names in music.”
