Innovative Shakespeare production of 'Lear' at The Brindley

AN innovative production of Shakespeare’s Lear is making its debut in Runcorn.
‘Lear’ will be staged at The Brindley Studio, at 7.30pm, on Friday, June 22.
Paul Kennedy of Minimum Wage Theatre Company, said: “We have a female Lear and it is set in a residential care home and explores themes of the treatment of the elderly, dementia, loneliness, isolation and the child's responsibility to the parent. “ Tickets are priced £8/£6 concessions.
This theatre company has staged nearly 100 plays since it was formed in 1991.
