A SPECIAL event at Norton Priory’s Walled Garden on Sunday, February 19, will celebrate potatoes.
Spudaganza from 12 noon to 4pm will give visitors the chance to buy plants, seeds and heritage varieties.
A new twist on games will challenge children in a potato and spoon race, potato bowling and a potato shy.
Creative activities will include potato printing and making a potato person.
Baked potatoes will be available in a newly-built cob oven, made from clay and straw.
Head gardener John Budworth will be offering tips on growing different varieties.
