BOYS and girls are tackling a new challenge.
Pupils at St Augustine’s RC Primary School in Runcorn, have formed a football team.
They practice every Wednesday on the school field in Castlefields and are looking forward to their first match.
Head teacher Elaine Richardson said: “There are many benefits to playing regular team sports.
“It increases children’s fitness levels, enables them to learn new skills and gain confidence.
“They really enjoy playing football.”
The children have been playing regularly since September.
The school is grateful to Quality Services of Runcorn for sponsoring their new kit.
